Sola en Barcelona: part five.

On the second day of my trip, I first visited the famous Sagrada Família. The size of the basilica is awe inspiring, and yet that is the least of what makes it so special. It is so beautiful, I almost cried! The way it was designed, as a space of worship inspired by nature, with an incredible attention to detail is amazing. The way the light enters through the stained glass looks magical! And there's so much more than you can see at first, such as all the geometry Gaudí has worked out, and the many architectural techniques were used. And on top of such craftsmanship and creativity, everything in the basilica has a meaning to it.That stained glass has symbolism and inscriptions, and even every pillar has its meaning. Mind-blowing!
