As the title suggests this picture was taken in Aalborg, Denmark. Aalborg is a wonderful city! I'd never been in Denmark or anywhere else in Scandinavia before and wasn't particularly interested in going there either. But ever since having visited, I'd very much like to see more of northern Europe. Also Danish is a very fascinating language. If you know German you can understand some written words. Understanding spoken Danish on the other hand, is about as hard as jumping over the moon.
