After that piece and quiet, I set out for a more crowded place and went to see some more of Gaudí's famous work. This is the colourful Casa Batlló. I've read that the mosaic looks like the scales of a fish, the balconies look like jaws of sea-creatures rising up from the water, and the roof is shaped as if a dragon laying there. My own imagination made me think that if a mermaid was transformed into a house, this would be her. It 's out of this world! The balconies don't remind me of the jaws of sea-creatures, but rather of Venetian masks and Phantom of the Opera (even though I've never seen it).
