After having seen a bit of Gamla Stan in the rain, we went to Strandvägen to catch a the boat for a tour in Stockholms skärgård: the archipelago of Stockholm. It was quite cold and windy out there, but the scenery was great of course! The tour guide mentioned the people living here: some live here all year round and have houses that can cope well with the elements. The houses with lots of glass belong to richer people that have it as a holiday home for summer. I don't think I'd like to live there permanently as you need a boat to get to anywhere, but it does look like a perfect place for a holiday home!
